How socially connected is your submission? Do you look for others to talk to about your submission for support or networking? Do you go to events or connect through another sort of social grouping either in person or online?
Ever since the beginning of my exploration I have been socially connected to others related to BDSM and submission. To be honest my drive started online. I’ve known so many people through the internet that when we do meet face to face it feels like I’ve known them my whole life.
I use a lot of social outlets even today to talk about submission and the challenges of being a submissive with other people. I run a Submissive Forum where I live and we meet once a month to talk about topics related to submission and BDSM. I’m quite active on FetLife and enjoy talking with people there also.
There used to be other forums where I had a presence too but they have since disappeared. I don't’ mind being a visible online personae. I’m glad that for many, I can be a help and a support system in place for the confusing months/years as you settle with yourself and your submission.
So it’s apparent that will never change. I’m always going to talk about BDSM and submission, and I’m going to be a part of every social networking location I can be to get that.
You can participate in the 30 Days of Submission too! Check out this post and make sure you leave your responses in the Subguide Club under the correct day!
