30 Days of Submission: Day 23 – Questioning my Submission

This entry is part 24 of 31 in the series 30 Days of Submission

Read the entire series – go back to the Introduction of the 30 Days of Submission!

Is there anything about submission (yours or what you see in others) that you question, dislike or repels you? Was there a time you questioned or were resistant to your own submissive feelings?

Wow. I spent a good long time questioning if I was even submissive. I’d have to say the first 3 years of my service to KnyghtMare was spent wondering if I had picked the right path in my life. Once I accepted it I moved right into questioning if I was slave material. I think my favorite thing is to question where I am right at that moment and wonder if I can go further.

I know almost every submissive friend I have overthinks things. It might be a larger spread “problem” but trying to figure out things, reflect on ourselves and our personal journey. I figure it’s a natural progression for me to go from one struggle to another.

I’m a pretty open person and haven’t found a whole lot that repels me about other people’s submission. The only thing that I just can’t stomach, and it’s no secret, is cheating and secret relationships. If you have to go outside your relationship secretly to be submissive then you aren’t being your true self and you are hurting more than your partner. I may be just a loyal slave, but if I can’t be completely honest with the person I’m with then I won’t stay with them.
