30 Days of Submission: Day 16 – Is My Submission Different in Various Relationships?

This entry is part 17 of 31 in the series 30 Days of Submission

Have you found your submission has changed with different partners/relationships? If you’re involved with partners of both sexes, does your submission relate or change based on gender or does it depend on the person?

Unfortunately, you probably won’t get a whole lot of insight from the answer to this question. KnyghtMare is my first real time long term D/s relationship. We are in our 9th year together. I’m not really sure what my submission would look like in other relationships.

I was not submissive in my previous marriage. He and I were both kinky vanilla. Once I needed more, that pretty much spelled the end for it.

I’ve been in casual BDSM relationships and they centered around play so my submission never really blossomed. I’ve also been in one online-only relationship and that’s really where I realized that submission was calling me to do more with my life. He didn’t really help me on that path but was smart enough to let me go when I needed to explore in real time.

I’m also heterosexual so I’ve never been in a relationship with a woman. Froggy is KM’s submissive. We are just friends. Sure we are closer than most, but sexual or D/s things will never happen between the two of us.

That’ s it for this question.
