Submissive Advent – Day 3: The Wise Words

This entry is part 4 of 25 in the series Submissive Advent Calendar

Today is day 3 of the Submissive Advent Calendar. If you missed yesterday’s post you can  go back to that now, or  rewind all the way to the beginning. You can also  read the introduction post.

No matter where we are in our submissive journey, whether that be mere days into the discovery or years of experience we have something that we all can learn from others. In our exploration, we have probably come across bits of information and inspiration that have touched us at our core, that call to our submissive or slave nature and that we continue to think about long after that information has passed our view.

That inspiration is the key for today’s activity. Spend about 5 minutes thinking about the advice you have received from others about life in general, living as a submissive or searching for a Dominant. How has it helped you grow and why does that advice keep coming back to you?

Here are a few pieces of advice that I’ve received that still stay with me.

“Tell someone you love them now, don’t wait, as one day, it will be too late.”

“Embrace your dreams, dream big but make sure you have a ladder for the way up.”

“Submission isn’t about what I want or need, it’s about getting mutual happiness with the one you love.”

and the story of the  Velveteen Rabbit sticks with me too.
