30 Days of Submission: Day 10 – BDSM and Kink in the Submissive Relationship

This entry is part 11 of 31 in the series 30 Days of Submission

Does any element of BDSM occur as a part of your submissive relationships? How do you feel about BDSM? Is it core to your submission, peripheral or non-existent (other than the submission part)?

BDSM and Kink were where I started in submission. I found a kinky sex life was where I thrived and I sought that out in my first sexual relationship. I loved the idea of bondage and rough sex. You could say that my first marriage and bed partners were kinky-lite. We were playful and kinky but didn’t have a dynamic at all.

When I first found BDSM I couldn’t get enough of kink. I wanted to sample everything that the kink world had to offer. And I did explore quite a bit of it with casual play partners and play parties.

I love kink and BDSM as a whole and always find new things I want to try, want to learn about or want to understand. But BDSM is very peripheral for our relationship. It’s a lovely addition to the sex life we lead and I know that every sexual exchange is full of D/s but not always kink.

I doubt kink will ever be fully removed from our lives.
