This book is more than likely going to be of interest for any novice with under 6 months of experience under their belt or are still dating and getting nowhere. I believe that was his focus for this book anyway. Definitely a disappointing read for the experienced BDSM participant and not what I was expecting when I bought the book.

A book can only be as good as what you get out of it, so for that reason, I'd have to give it a relatively low rating in comparison to D/s oriented books as far as helpfulness is concerned.

It's not one I would say has to be on everyone's bookshelf because you just don't glean that much out of it. Those of us how have to read everything possible than it's good to have, but I'd recommend borrowing it before spending the money on your own copy.
